Irakorinde
Weaving a living path through the threads of mystical traditions.
ABOUT ME
Irakorinde has been working with so-called fortune-telling skills for almost her whole life. Her “native skill” is Yi-Jing and Chinese astrologies, given she was born in China and developed a passion for them in childhood. Under the irresistible wave of globalisation, she was exposed to Tarot, Lenormand and Oracle cards, as well as Western and Vedic astrology. She learns and learns and practices, with a comparative mind — trying to find her own way through and between various traditions and constructions. Gradually, she realized that one’s own path is not to be found but to be built — or woven. Now she can read Tarot as well as Yi-Jing, feels a calling to take a weaving method seriously on the spiritual path — both her own and that of others. Thus, she starts this website to share her thoughts, and to try out some teachings and coaching.
On the right shows the “Skills” bar of Irakorinde. Her core skills are interpreting — including cards, Yi-Jing, and various astrologies. She will mostly produce free video content and offer charged, systematical classes on these three topics. Besides, she has deep experience with rituals and religions, and is willing to share her understandings and feelings via her blog.Irakorinde also personally practices meditation and healing for a few years now. However, she is still far from expert level, may hold some biased opinions, and prefers not to speak too much about those areas. Also, she finds it super difficult to build this website, and needs help with video editing and SEO very much.
For now, most of her content is in Chinese and published on Bilibili. English content will be coming soon.

My Blog
Introductions
There will be three parts to this blog:
Classic
This section aims to introduce classic Chinese mystical texts to the English-speaking world through translation and clarification. The first two projects will be Yunji Qiqian (云笈七签) and Wuxing Dayi (五行大义). These are long and rich texts, ideal for extensive and exploratory reading. Irakorinde will minimize her own interpretation in these posts, giving readers an opportunity to form their own connections with Chinese mysticism.Practical
This section will offer useful templates related to card reading, ritual performance, and self-exploration.Interpretive
This section consists mainly of transcriptions of Irakorinde’s video content originally published on the Chinese platform Bilibili. These videos introduce fundamental concepts of Western mysticism to a Chinese audience. When transcribed into English, they will include more quotations (i.e., sources) and adopt a more comparative perspective.
